4.2 handicap. Titleist 620 MB, 4 through pitching wedge. I am the caddie who will tell you not to buy the club I play.
The Caddie's Den is the after-the-round den, not a store. One real on-course review a week of something I actually put in play. Homepage opens on me, not SKUs.
I play two to three times a week in Florida, Indiana, and Georgia. I have been playing for more than 20 years. I like feedback. I like knowing when I missed it. That bias shows up in the reviews, and you should factor it in.
Shot 74 at Fort Myers Country Club on April 27, 2026. That round is a data point, not a brand.
How this works
Five rounds minimum on a course, keeping score, before a verdict. Range buckets do not count. If I have not used it, it is not here.
Driver, fairway woods, wedges, and putter stay blank until I have a verdict I will stand behind. I am not going to invent a bag to fill a grid.
Every issue says who should buy and who should skip. Play it, skip it, or wait for a fitting. I would rather you keep the money than buy the wrong thing. Full method on How I Test. The bag I actually carry is on My Bag.
Money
I buy what I test. If a brand ever sends something free, the review will say so at the top, not in a footnote.
I buy my own gear. No paid links. Nothing on this site is here because a tag paid for it.
Say hello
Gear you think I missed, or something you played that is worth a five-round look: contact or [email protected]. I read it.
